This year the school will receive £17340 from central government to develop sport and physical activity in the school.

Developing confidence of staff teaching PE by having sports coach in to observe and work with. Plan will be provided for future use.

Sports coach worked with KS1 to develop Teacher confidence. Staff involved have since left school but helped upskill NQT who was in role last year.

Big increase in participation in sporting activities in school. Lunch clubs well attended throughout the year.

Children enjoyed the opportunity to go swimming. Impact of this should be clear over next few years as Year 5 children are more confident when they attend swimming lessons. Good progress made by yr 1/3 – target ALL children to swim by end of KS2.
