Today, pupils in Key Stage 2 went to Wickham Market Cemetary with The Royal British Legion to lay wreaths on the graves of two soldiers who died during World War I. They also observed a two minutes silence and the respect they showed did the school proud. Well done to Key Stage 2.

Thanks to all that made the Big Dig on Saturday. The sun shone for us whilst we weeded, strimmed, weaved and planted in the garden. It is super tidy now and ready for the classes to use during the spring time. Thank you to all the families that came along and helped out, your support means so much to us. It was lovely to see children, parents and grandparents helping us out with some expert advice. Take a look if you get chance.

The children had a fantastic time in Derbyshire. Behaviour was immaculate and we were completed by not only a member of staff at Chatstworth House but also a member of the public who went out of his way to shake Mr Woods' hand. Well done to all of the pupils for a fantastic week!

Years 5 and 6 had a great last two days time camping, orienteering, watching the ships at Felixstowe Docks and playing on the beach. All of the adults agreed that their behaviour was fantastic the entire time but, despite some of them pleading to, we had to decline their requests to stay an extra night!

Joe from The Read House in Aldeburgh visited the school today to deliver an assembly. The children had great fun as he spoke about Ed Sheeran, Benjamin Britten and invited them up to try different instruments.
