This week we have been learning about 3D shapes in maths.
In phonics we have been finding out all the different ways to make the 'oa' phoneme. oa, ow, o, o_e, oe, ough, eau
We have been finding out about Nocturnal animals. We have also been finding out about what animals eat and sorting them into different groups, carnivores, omnivores and herbivores.
We watched a story from Brazil about 'Where night came from' and then wrote our own versions of the story. We also listened to the story 'Night Monkey, Day Monkey' by Julia Donaldson and then thought about which monkey we would like to be and why.
On Tuesday - internet safety day we watched a story about 'Smartie the Penguin' which taught us that if we are ever unsure of anything while we are on the internet, we should tell an adult.
